Proteus - IC 7447 + IC 74HC393 - Cuts Zeros Circuit

02:46
In this circuit, we show how to avoid display leading zeros. Cuts Zeros Circuit is his name. We use the normal way 74HC393 as counter numbers. What we focus on is the 7447 extra functionality: L T , RBI, RBO. L T is a LAMP TEST input. when at logic level 0, every output is active so you can check if a segment or an output is broken or is used to verify that none of the segments are melted. RBI is RIPPLE BLANKING INPUT is used in multi-digit display and should be connected to the RBO of the previous digit (the digit to the left). In this way, you may avoid showing trailing "0" if not needed as you do in manual number writing. Edit Faster! Top 10 Final Cut Pro X Keyboard Shortcuts

10:23
Top 10 Final Cut Pro X Keyboard Shortcuts. If you want to edit faster, you must learn these FCPX shortcuts. These shortcuts are listed in no particular order of importance. They are all useful in their own way. 1. Ctrl + T: Adds the default Title to the timeline. 2. Option + Mouse Drag: Hold down the Option key while doing a mouse drag of an asset you want to duplicate. I use this primarily with titles, but I sometimes do it with other clips I want to copy. 3. Command + (plus) and - (minus): This is used to zoom in and out of the timeline. I primarily used it when I am doing cuts. I zoom way in so that I don’t leave much of a gap in between my cuts. 4. Command + B: I use this to make straight cuts in my timeline. 5. Command + C and Command + Shift + V: This is actually a combination of two keyboard shortcuts, which are used hand in hand, therefore they count as one. So, whenever I’ve done with a color grade or I’ve tweaked with the audio and I want to copy those effects over to another clip. What I do is I select the clip that has those effects. I hit Command + C to copy the effects. Then I select all the clips I want to paste the effects onto. Then I hit Command + Shift + V. Now, I can select exactly what effects I want to copy over. Maybe I only want the color grading to copy over, but not the crop or the audio effects, so I can deselect those. Hit Ok and its done. 6. Shift + Right Arrow and Left Arrow : This is used when I am cutting my footage. I like to do fast forwarding by hitting Shift Right arrow key. I can also back up faster by hitting Shift Left arrow key. It speeds up the “scrubbing” process. 7. Option + [ and ]: These keys are used to trim the timeline. So let’s say I am fast forwarding through the timeline. I can stop at any point and bring in everything to the right by hitting Option + [ key. Conversely, I can bring everything to the left by hitting Option + ] key. 8. M: This used to set Markers. Sometimes I need to stop editing because I got other stuff to do, so I set a Marker to remind me where I am in the timeline when I come back. I also drop markers to tell me if I need to revisit that portion of the clip. I might need to add a picture or audio or fix something. 9. Shift + B: Retiming video clips. Let’s say I want to fast forward a portion of my video clip. I put my playhead where I want to change the speed of my clip and I hit Shift B to change the speed. I can then drag to speed up or slow down the video. I then go to the part of my clip where I want things to come back to normal and I hit Shift + B. I hit the drop down and select Normal. 10. Ctrl + Cmd + 1 and Cmd + 4 and Cmd + 5 and Cmd + 7: Last on my list is actually a series of commands. So, I really cheated on this one, because these work with each other in combination. __ My Main Camera: http://amzn.to/2iaI4Sf Favorite Lens: https://amzn.to/2rvzWR6 Great Beginner Lens: http://amzn.to/2zKxBUU My new Camera: https://amzn.to/2KoLNHW Lens for the new camera: https://amzn.to/2KrD3RA The Mic I use all the time: http://amzn.to/2iclLLY Must Have Audio Recorder: http://amzn.to/2BPnYFE My 7" Camera Monitor: http://amzn.to/2Csrd5A Writing Graphics Mouse: http://amzn.to/2iLNbJo My complete video gear: https://kit.com/elmarcosrocha/my-youtube-gear DISCLAIMER: Some of the links are affiliated, if you purchase gear with these links I will receive a small commission at no additional cost to you. #257: Power Supply Decoupling & Filtering: why we use multiple caps in different locations

08:11
This video talks about the different roles that the various power supply decoupling and filter capacitors serve on a circuit board. While the video doesn't cover how to select the values, it does illustrate and demonstrate why both "bulk" electrolytic caps and high frequency (usually ceramic) caps are used, and why they are placed where they are. There is a lot written about the topic of selecting values - google is your friend. Here is one good example which includes some good general guidelines: https://pdfs.semanticscholar.org/fe9c/29dde27b7afd7a893486fcfcc4c2885a8c8b.pdf Here is a good extensive paper from Murata: http://www.murata.com/~/media/webrenewal/support/library/catalog/products/emc/emifil/c39e.ashx Nice app note from Maxim: https://www.maximintegrated.com/en/app-notes/index.mvp/id/5450 Really good resource from Texas Instruments: http://www.ti.com/lit/ml/slyp173/slyp173.pdf

Selbstgebauter Röhrenverstärker Test - homemade tube amp test - eflose #7

04:13

5 Fast Fixes to Common Frustrating Problems in Adobe Premiere Pro! (Video Editing How to) (CC 2018)

08:57
Get the latest version of Adobe Premiere Pro: http://bit.ly/2ekhRiF In this tutorial, I will show you 5 common frustrating video editing issues in Adobe Premiere Pro CC and how to fix them! 1. Mismatched Sizes - Often times a project may involve many different sized clips which can cause issues if you aren't aware of your sequence size and desired project size beforehand. This can be fixed by scaling or planning specifications beforehand. 2. Audio or Video Footage Not Dragging - Make sure you have the tracks highlighted so source patching allows you to drag the proper footage back on the sequence timeline. 3. Media Offline - You can relink offline media by locating it on your hard drive if you've moved it mid edit or unplugged a drive. You can also use offline media as a way to edit drafts and turn it back on in the future. 4. Warp Stabilizer - and speed can't be used on the same clip or requires clip dimensions to match sequence. You can fix this by nesting the clip which acts as a new clip. 5. Un-Nest Clips - You can bring the original clips back after nesting by either going into the sequence and copy pasting or dragging sequences from the project media bin. Hopefully these fixes will save you many hours of frustration in future video editing projects! -------------------------------------------------------------------- SUBSCRIBE on YouTube: http://bit.ly/Justinodisho Visit My Website: http://justinodisho.com/ Follow me Online: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/JustinOdisho Twitter: https://twitter.com/JustinOdisho Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/JustinOdisho ► Listen to my Podcast: http://justinodisho.com/podcast Thanks for watching!

Soviet Institutional Centralization and War

13:21
So this may seem an obvious point to some of you and revolutionary to others, but with this video I wanted to provide a closer institutional insight as to how Soviet General Secretary Joseph Stalin was able to achieve autocratic primacy. The executive overreach created as a result of the 1936-38 purges in turn created a precedence that allowed Stalin the tools to micro manage the Soviet Union to near collapse in 1941. In this video I specifically analyze the constitutional amendments of electoral representation and the proportionality per delegates in the Congress of Soviets and Supreme Soviet. I felt that the constitution of 1936 was a critical juncture that solidified the Soviet legislative branches role as a rubberstamp that would allow executive overreach to take hold. That in turn would have a ripple effect that would lead to appalling decisions at the battlefields in Bialystok-Minsk and Kiev, to name a few. I am sorry I have not made a video in a while. It was a combination of lack of inspiration, and the difficulty with having too many ideas. I am trying to diversify my accounts to not just include purely militaristic history, which is why I tackled this from a political perspective. The video is really trying to explain the institutional factors and critical junctures that led to such high Soviet losses in Operation Barbarossa. It is not simply the effects of Stalin's Purge but also the causes and developments. I hope you enjoy! "All audible musical sound is given us for the sake of harmony, which has motions akin to the orbits in our soul, and which, as anyone who makes intelligent use of the arts knows, is not to be used, as is commonly thought, to give irrational pleasure, but as a heaven-sent ally in reducing to order and harmony any disharmony in the revolutions within us." -Plato Watch The Man With The Seven Second Memory On Real Stories https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k_P7Y0-wgos Real Life: The Man With The Seven Second Memory by ITV Global Studios https://itvstudios.com/programmes/real-life-the-man-with-the-seven-second-memory **** LINKS AND SOURCES **** BOOKS Musicophilia by Oliver Sacks on Amazon http://geni.us/Musicophilia Music And The Mind by Anthony Storr on Amazon http://geni.us/MusicAndTheMind How Music Works by John Powell on Amazon http://geni.us/HowMusicWorks Music, The Brain, And Ecstasy by Robert Jourdain on Amazon http://geni.us/MusicTheBrainEcstasy ARTICLES Brains Of Deaf People Rewire To ‘Hear’ Music by Walter Neary http://www.washington.edu/news/2001/11/27/brains-of-deaf-people-rewire-to-hear-music/ Kierkegarrd On Music https://digilib.phil.muni.cz/bitstream/handle/11222.digilib/111983/H_Musicologica_27-1992-1_7.pdf?sequence=1 Thinking Sounds By Marcel Cobussen https://cobussen.com/research/music-and-spirituality/ Music And The Shopper by Kimberly Sean Moore https://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/your-musical-self/201412/music-and-the-shopper Why Music Plays A Big Role In What You Buy by Madeline Ford http://blog.motivemetrics.com/The-Psychology-of-Music-Why-Music-Plays-a-Big-Role-in-What-You-Buy The Subliminal Influence Of Ambient Music On Shoppers https://www.psychologistworld.com/behavior/ambient-music-retail-psychological-arousal-customers.php Music And Emotions by Daniela and Bernd Willimek http://www.willimekmusic.de/music-and-emotions.pdf The Theory Of Musical Equilibration https://www.omicsonline.org/open-access/why-do-minor-chords-sound-sad-the-theory-of-musical-equilibration-and-the-emotions-of-chords-2161-0487.1000139.php?aid=24803 The Surprising Science Behind What Music Does To Our Brains by Belle Beth Cooper https://www.fastcompany.com/3022942/work-smart/the-surprising-science-behind-what-music-does-to-our-brains Unborn Babies Played Music In The Womb ‘Remember The Melodies When They Are Born’ http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-1364120/Unborn-babies-played-music-womb-remember-melodies-born.html The Universal Language Of Lullaby http://www.bbc.com/news/magazine-21035103 How Musical Is Man? by John Blacking https://www.amazon.com/Musical-Jessie-John-Danz-Lectures/dp/0295953381 https://www.scribd.com/doc/104131606/How-Musical-is-Man-John-Blacking The Power Of Music by Oliver Sacks https://academic.oup.com/brain/article/129/10/2528/292982/The-power-of-music Psychology Of Workout Music by Ferris Jabr https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/psychology-workout-music/ RESEARCH PAPERS Neural Correlates Of Specific Musical Anhedonia http://www.pnas.org/content/113/46/E7337.abstract Effect Of Music-Movement Sychrony On Exercise Oxygen Consumption https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/22828457 ASSET CREDITS Neaderthal In Shanidar Cave by Alton Tobey uploaded by Amanda 737 https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Shanidar_cave-Neanderthal.jpg http://altontobey.com/man.html Brain Scans of Patients With Parkinsonian Symptoms by psjrbrown https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U2EqDXEttS4 Music Walking Program For Parkinson’s University Of Calgary https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eNpoVeLfMKg Hope by George Frederic Watts https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hope_(painting) VSAUCE CREDITS Written, Produced, Edited and Hosted by Kevin Lieber Instagram: http://instagram.com/kevlieber Twitter: https://twitter.com/kevleeb Website: http://kevinlieber.com Contributing Researcher & Editor Matthew Tabor, Koala Fight Media http://koala.fm/ VFX by Eric Langlay https://www.youtube.com/c/ericlanglay Sound Design by Jay Pellizzi http://jaypellizzi.com/ Select Music by Jake Chudnow https://www.youtube.com/user/jakechudnow Special Thanks Paula Lieber https://twitter.com/pixichuu Special Thanks Sean Malone http://citizena.tv Special Thanks Joshua Mark http://www.ancient.eu/user/JPryst/ Special Thanks Eric Dombrowski http://www.ericdombrowski.com Vsauce2 Links Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/VsauceTwo Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/VsauceTwo Website: http://www.Vsauce.com The Curiosity Box https://www.curiositybox.com/ What Is Music?

More about Heart of Darkness: Heart of Darkness is a novella written by Joseph Conrad. Before its 1903 publication, it appeared as a three-part series (1899) in Blackwood's Magazine. It was classified by the Modern Library website editors as one of the "100 best novels" and part of the Western canon. The story centres on Charles Marlow, who narrates most of the book. He is an Englishman who takes a foreign assignment from a Belgian trading company as a river-boat captain in Africa. Heart of Darkness exposes the dark side of European colonization while exploring the three levels of darkness that the protagonist, Marlow, encounters: the darkness of the Congo wilderness, the darkness of the Europeans' cruel treatment of the African natives, and the unfathomable darkness within every human being for committing heinous acts of evil. Although Conrad does not give the name of the river, at the time of writing the Congo Free State, the location of the large and important Congo River, was a private colony of Belgium's King Leopold II. In the story, Marlow is employed to transport ivory downriver. However, his more pressing assignment is to return Kurtz, another ivory trader, to civilization, in a cover-up. Kurtz has a reputation throughout the region. The flood had made, the wind was nearly calm, and being bound down the river, the only thing for it was to come to and wait for the turn of the tide. The sea-reach of the Thames stretched before us like the beginning of an interminable waterway. In the offing the sea and the sky were welded together without a joint, and in the luminous space the tanned sails of the barges drifting up with the tide seemed to stand still in red clusters of canvas sharply peaked, with gleams of varnished sprits. A haze rested on the low shores that ran out to sea in vanishing flatness. The air was dark above Gravesend, and farther back still seemed condensed into a mournful gloom, brooding motionless over the biggest, and the greatest, town on earth. The Director of Companies was our captain and our host. We four affectionately watched his back as he stood in the bows looking to seaward. On the whole river there was nothing that looked half so nautical. He resembled a pilot, which to a seaman is trustworthiness personified. It was difficult to realize his work was not out there in the luminous estuary, but behind him, within the brooding gloom. ...CONTINUED... #audiobook #audiobooks #free #freeaudiobooks #book #books #HeartOfDarkness #JosephConrad #GreatestAudioBooks Total running time: 4:38:45 Read by Bob Neufeld In addition to the reader, this audio book was produced by: Dedicated Proof-Listener: Rapunzelina Meta-Coordinator/Cataloging: Guero This is a Librivox recording. Symposium on Blockchain for Robotic Systems

07:48:24
Robotic systems are revolutionizing applications from transportation to health care. However, many of the characteristics that make robots ideal for future applications—such as autonomy, self-learning, and knowledge sharing—also raise concerns about the evolution of the technology. Blockchain, an emerging technology that originated in the digital currency field, shows great potential to make robotic operations more secure, autonomous, flexible, and even profitable, thereby bridging the gap between purely scientific domains and real-world applications. This symposium seeks to move beyond the classical view of robotic systems to advance our understanding about the possibilities and limitations of combining state-of-the art robotic systems with blockchain technology. With Fusion 360, you can do the complex shapes, and we’ll walk you through how to do that today. We’ll start with an overview. Generally speaking, the steps to doing this are: 1) CAD, 2) CAM (comprised of details for your setup, tool, and tool path), 3) G-Code, 4) Machine Controller, 5) CNC. We’ll skip over CAD because that’s a whole tutorial on its own, and we’ll jump straight into CAM. CAM is basically showing the CNC how to carve your model out of your stock material. But Fusion 360 can’t read your mind, so you have to input all this information. Open your model in Fusion and click on the CAM tab. You’ll start by creating a new setup. This is where you’ll define 1) what the raw material is, 2) how your model is oriented, and 3) what you want to end up with.
