In this video I share hacks that help memorize thousands of English words per day and grow your vocabulary. 📝 Get your English text corrected instantly - https://fluent.express/ Related videos: 50 most common English phrases - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bj5btO2nvt8 - Best TV shows to learn English - http://bit.ly/2zI5DN2 - How to speak English like an American - http://bit.ly/2muNpcQ  📗🇺🇸 My book about how I got full financial aid to study in the USA (my story + tips) - https://goo.gl/fKwah2 How to learn hundreds of English words a day 1. There are words in English that work both as a noun and verb - so by learning one work your learning two -    work, drive, try, kiss, drink, dream, milk (доить), hope, love 2. Words that end with -tion would be almost the same in your own language, super easy to learn - ambition (ambicion, Ambition, ambitzione), motivation (motivacion, Motivation, motivazione). Dissertation, profession, portion, intonation, convention, sanction, concentration, delegation, illustration 3. Look for images for particular words - you will be surprised you’ve already used them a lot in your life. Sometimes words just remind you of something - a song, a band. Spear which is a weapon - I think of Britney Spears. Beetle = a bug, Volkswagen New Beetle car, which looks like a bug, gosling - is a baby goose - and you know who I am thinking about - Ryan Gosling. 4. Some words have several meanings - try to learn at least a couple of meanings to diversify your vocabulary - fire = flame, to let someone go (employee), date = going out with a loved one, date as a fruit, date as a day in a calendarmiss = to skip something, to long to see someone, miss like a girl 5. There are a lot of words that are almost identical in a lot of languages - aquarium, antidepressant, avocado, argument, sensor, caramel, control, cocktail, scandal, organism 6. When you speak it’s very important to remember the words, which I call a safety net - these should be learnt by heart right now. Words include - I, you, she, he, eye, female, etc. - they are all mentioned in my video - 100 Most Common English Words 7. Learn expressions - are you nuts? 🥜 save face, I am all ears, to feel blue- every day words form combinations that have a completely different meaning 8. Talk to yourself when you learn a new word or expression using it. For example, if you liked the video you can comment below “Marina, I was all ears!” Which means that you listened to the video really carefully and wrote things down. 9. Be aware of false friends. Some words in English might sound like a word a your language, but mean a completely different thing. One of the common words is Actual - in English in means current, related to present time. In Spanish Actual is real.Eventuell = perhaps, eventually = in the end ⭐ INSTAGRAM - linguamarina ⭐ LEARN LANGUAGES ABROAD - https://linguatrip.com 📷 FILMING EQUIPMENT VLOGS (outdoors): - Canon G7X - http://amzn.to/2l2aSfE VIDEOS indoors: - Sony A7R II (also perfect for instagram) - http://amzn.to/2DrCNTU - Sony 50 mm lens - http://amzn.to/2G2r4c4 SOUND: - Zoom H4n Pro (better than any built-in camera sound) - http://amzn.to/2DVJzyr - Rode video mic (when I have to use my camera to record the sound) - http://amzn.to/2BhkCKW 🎈PROMOS $20 TO SPEND ON AIRBNB - https://abnb.me/e/B2yx6PJZER $20 TO SPEND ON UBER - http://ubr.to/2k1B89L

Text Classification - Natural Language Processing With Python and NLTK p.11

11:41
Now that we understand some of the basics of of natural language processing with the Python NLTK module, we're ready to try out text classification. This is where we attempt to identify a body of text with some sort of label. To start, we're going to use some sort of binary label. Examples of this could be identifying text as spam or not, or, like what we'll be doing, positive sentiment or negative sentiment. Natural Language Processing With Python and NLTK p.1 Tokenizing words and Sentences

19:54
Natural Language Processing is the task we give computers to read and understand (process) written text (natural language). By far, the most popular toolkit or API to do natural language processing is the Natural Language Toolkit for the Python programming language. The NLTK module comes packed full of everything from trained algorithms to identify parts of speech to unsupervised machine learning algorithms to help you train your own machine to understand a specific bit of text. NLTK also comes with a large corpora of data sets containing things like chat logs, movie reviews, journals, and much more! Bottom line, if you're going to be doing natural language processing, you should definitely look into NLTK! 16 FAMOUS LOGOS WITH A HIDDEN MEANING (That We Never Even Noticed)

06:28
How to design a successful logo? How to build a famous brand for your business? Some of the most well-known logos in the world were purposefully designed to indicate something much more than simple beauty. In fact, it seems that in some cases, every line, curve, and color has meaning behind it. Adidas, Apple, BMW, Coca-Cola, Toyota… We see these famous brands everywhere but never consider what their logos exactly mean. Curious to know the secret? Watch the 16 famous logos with a hidden meaning you've never noticed. #logomeaning #logosecret # Hyundai 0:33 The letter ’Н’ symbolizes two people – a client and a representative of the company – shaking hands. Adidas 0:52 The current logo is three stripes at an angle which together form a triangle. This symbolizes a mountain, which in turn represents the challenges that all sportsmen have to overcome day after day. Apple 1:21 Rob Janoff, the designer who came up with the world-famous Apple company logo, explained his idea in one of his interviews. He bought a bag of apples, placed them in a bowl, and spent time drawing them for a week, trying to break the image down into something simple. Vaio 1:58 The first two letters of the Vaio logo symbolize an analogue wave. The last two are similar to the numbers 1 and 0 — that is, symbols of a digital signal. Amazon 2:14 The orange arrow is similar to a smile because the company wants its customers to be satisfied. The arrow is also stretched between the letters ’A’ and ’Z’, in a hint that the company sells absolutely every product you can imagine. Baskin Robbins 2:40 The pink-colored parts of the "BR" section make up the number 31, which is how many ice cream flavors Baskin Robbins used to famously sell. Toyota 2:56 The logo represents a stylized image of a needle eye with a thread passing through it. This is a hint at the company’s past – they used to produce weaving machines. Continental 3:28 Continental, a famous car tire producer, has a logo in which the first two letters depict a car wheel. Formula 1 3:41 If you look carefully at the white space between the letter ’F’ and the red stripes, you can see the number 1. Pinterest 3:59 On Pinterest, people collect images they like from across the Internet and ’pin’ them to their online boards. That’s why the image of a pin is hidden in the letter P. Beats 4:17 Beats, an audio equipment producer based in the USA, uses a logo in which the letter ’B’ looks like headphones on a person’s head. Toblerone 4:32 The famous chocolate company based in Bern, Switzerland, has a silhouette of a bear in its logo. That's because Bern is sometimes called a city of bears. BMW 4:55 The logo is simply a part of the Bavarian flag, the area of Germany where the company originated. LG 5:18 The logo is a stylized image of a person’s face. According to the company, this represents its aspiration to have human relations with their customers. Evernote 5:34 The corner of the elephant’s ear is folded over in a similar way how people fold the corner of a page to make notes. Coca-Cola 5:57 In the space between the letters ’O’ and ’L’, you can see the Danish flag. It’s purely a coincidence. Nevertheless, Coca-Cola has used this as part of its marketing campaigns in the Scandinavian country. If you’ve enjoyed this video, hit that thumbs up button! Difference between "under", "below", "beneath", and "underneath" - English Grammar Lesson

15:18
What's the difference between "under", "below", "beneath", and "underneath"? - English Grammar & Vocabulary Lesson Take the test - http://www.learnex.in/whats-the-difference-between-under-below-beneath-and-underneath These words are all similar in meaning, but figuring out the differences between them can be a little tricky. First, it's helpful to know how common each word is: 1. "Under" is the most popular. 2. "Below" is used about 1/4 as often as "under" 3. "Beneath" is used 1/2 as often as "below" 4. "Underneath" is used less than 1/2 as often as "beneath" So if you're struggling to choose the correct word, "under" is probably the safest choice. Now let's discuss each word in detail. Under "Under" is the default choice. In most situations, you can replace any of the other words with "under". Compared to "below", "under" is more often used to talk about 3-dimensional objects. For example, you'd talk about something being under a table, under a book, etc. # "Under" is also good for talking about layers of something: I have on a t-shirt under my jacket. # You can use "under" for numbers: I did it in under 7 hours. We were able to raise just under fifteen thousand dollars. # "Under" also shows up in expressions like: under stress under pressure under someone's control under someone's influence under consideration under construction under a spell Below Compared to "under", you use "below" more often to talk about the level of something on a flat plane. For example, if you're describing two photos that hang on a wall, you can say that one of them is "below" the other. # Use "below" to talk about the level of something, like a temperature: It's supposed to drop below freezing tonight. In writing, you can use "below" to talk about something later on: Please read the instructions below before you begin. The opposite of "below" is "above". Beneath # "Beneath" is more formal than "under": In the unlikely event of an emergency water landing, you may find a flotation device beneath your seat cushion. It can also suggest being covered by something: beneath the blankets beneath the surface of the water When you're talking about someone's actions or decisions, you use "beneath" to talk about the true emotions that a person is hiding: Beneath it all, he still loves her. When you're talking about human relationships, being "beneath" someone is very negative. Things or people that are "beneath" you are disgusting. They're too low for someone with your social position: She acts like some kind of princess, like we're all beneath her. Underneath # "Underneath" has a kind of casual and expressive feeling. You can choose "underneath" instead of "under" to explain the location of something with a little more emphasis. A: You found it! Where was it? B: It was underneath the sofa. Think of "underneath" as a more emotional, exciting version of "under".
The Secret to Remembering Vocabulary

09:15
http://www.engvid.com/ OMG, there are too many English words to learn! Well, I can help. Watch this video to learn my own trick for remembering new words. In order to show you how this trick works, I will also teach you the following five words: hammered, creamed, bald, beard, and condo. After watching this video, remembering new words will be a piece of cake. Take the quiz here: http://www.engvid.com/the-secret-to-remembering-vocabulary/ Hello. My name is Emma, and in today's video, I will teach you a trick on how to remember vocabulary. So English has the largest vocabulary out of any language. I think it's close to 600,000 words in English. So how are you going to remember so much vocabulary? Well, when I was in China, I created a little trick -- and other people use this trick, too -- that really helped me to remember all the new words I was learning. So in this video, I will teach you this trick. So what you do -- I have a bunch of interesting pictures on the board -- is any time you come up across a new word and you're learning a new word, you need to make a picture in your head of this word. A good idea is to try to think of other words that sound like this word and imagine funny situations in your mind. So what do I mean by that? Well, let me show you. The first word I'm going to teach you today is "bald", "bald", b-a-l-d. What does it mean to be "bald"? It means to have no hair, okay? So if you have no hair, you are "bald". How do you remember this word? Well, if you use my trick, you can imagine a word that sounds like "bald" -- maybe "ball", basketball, soccer ball. So in your mind, I want you to imagine a ball. It can be a basketball, a soccer ball -- any type of ball. Now, imagine the ball with a face. Imagine the ball with no hair on top, maybe a little hair on the side, a little hair here, but no hair on the top. Because "ball" and "bald" sound alike, if you imagine this picture for maybe ten seconds, it will help you to remember it in the future, okay? Think "ball with no hair". Okay. Let's try our second word: "beard". What's a beard? It's the hair that comes off a man's chin -- usually, women don't have beards. So it's the hair that comes down like this. How are we going to remember this word? Well, imagine a man with a beard, and inside the beard is a bird, a little bird, tweet tweet! And what's it doing in the beard? Why, it's drinking beer. Okay? So this little picture is -- don't know if you can see that, but that is beer. So imagine a bird drinking beer. Those two words together -- beer. This isn't beer; this one is. Imagine "bird" and "beer". Together, if you put the words together, they make "beard". A bird drinking beer in a beard. Can you say that fast? "Bird drinking beer in a beard." So maybe, if you picture this for ten seconds, you will remember this word. Okay. Next word I want to teach you today: "creamed". So what does it mean to be "creamed"? "We creamed you guys." "You guys got creamed." It means someone lost a game very badly. If our team creamed your basketball team, your basketball team lost; our team won. So you don't want to be "creamed". If you get "creamed", it's bad. It means you lost, you lose. So how can you remember this? Well, imagine someone -- maybe somebody you don't like, somebody you play basketball against or some sport. Imagine throwing a bunch of ice cream and it hits their face -- because the keyword "cream", "ice cream". So if you can imagine ice cream on someone's face, it will help you to remember the word "creamed". So imagine that for ten seconds. So think "ice cream on face", "creamed".

All the words are then arranged in a cluster or cloud of words. Alternatively, the words can also be arranged in any format: horizontal lines, columns or within a shape. Word Clouds can also be used to display words that have meta-data assigned to them. For example, in a Word Cloud of all the World's countries, population could be assigned to each country's name to determine its size. Colour used on Word Clouds is usually meaningless and is primarily aesthetic, but it can be used to categorise words or to display another data variable. Typically, Word Clouds are used on websites or blogs to depict keyword or tag usage. Word Clouds can also be used to compare two different bodies of text together. Your Ears Can Indicate Your Health: Don't Ignore These 8 Factors

10:10
It is a normal hygienic procedure to clean our ears once every few days. However, not all of us know that ear wax can also indicate the state of our health. With the help of a Q-tip, you can check the color of your ear wax and understand what it means. TIMESTAMPS What do we know about the human ear? 0:35 Ear wax of a gray color 1:28 Ear wax with traces of blood 2:09 Ear wax of a brown color 3:02 Ear wax of a black color 3:40 Ear wax of a white color 4:25 Ear wax with an unpleasant smell 5:14 Liquid ear wax 6:03 Dry earwax 6:36 See a doctor if you have the following symptoms 7:06 What you shouldn't do to avoid any problems 8:14 Three most interesting facts about your ears 8:47 SUMMARY Ear wax is not a body waste to get rid of regularly, quite the contrary - it's a kind of protection. It keeps the ear canal lubricated, therefore, prevents the ears from itching. Moreover, it prevents different pollutants from entering the inner ear. Even more surprisingly, this substance has antibacterial properties. Our body is a clever mechanism. Did you know that when we chew, the movement pushes ear wax to the outer part of the ear? This way, your ears self-clean! If your ears tend to produce a big amount of ear wax creating a build-up, you can take some preventive measures yourself. - It's effective to use agents softening the wax. They can be mineral or baby oil, or ear drops. It is enough to put a few drops of these substances into your ear once a week to soften the ear wax and help it to come out faster and with ease. - Another way to take care of your ears is to buy a special at-home kit for their irrigation. McPhie brings an impressive social license resume to IDM Mining and like Stibbard and McLeod, has earned a strong reputation in Canadian mining circles. He has already chaired the Association of Mineral Exploration British Columbia (AMEBC), been the CEO of the Mining Association of British Columbia (MABC), was the Chair of the Board of Governors of the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) and was a senior policy adviser with Canada's federal Department of Natural Resources. By the time I met him in Arizona he was only 42, and clearly someone who had a lot going for him.

Whenever an accounting transaction is created, at least two accounts are always impacted, with a debit entry being recorded against one account and a credit entry being recorded against the other account. There is no upper limit to the number of accounts involved in a transaction - but the minimum is no less than two accounts. The totals of the debits and credits for any transaction must always equal each other, so that an accounting transaction is always said to be "in balance." If a transaction were not in balance, then it would not be possible to create financial statements. Thus, the use of debits and credits in a two-column transaction recording format is the most essential of all controls over accounting accuracy. There can be considerable confusion about the inherent meaning of a debit or a credit. For example, if you debit a cash account, then this means that the amount of cash on hand increases. However, if you debit an accounts payable account, this means that the amount of accounts payable liability decreases. These differences arise because debits and credits have different impacts across several broad types of accounts, which are: Asset accounts. A debit increases the balance and a credit decreases the balance. Liability accounts. A debit decreases the balance and a credit increases the balance. Cultural Mining

Cultural Mining is the term given to the extraction of valuable ideas from the raw ore of culture. It’s what we do every day at The School of Life. In cultural mining, the refined and practical essence of culture is carefully extracted, cleaned, blasted and remoulded – and then used to manufacture the utensils and mental resources that will help us navigate contemporary life; work, relationships, family, self-knowledge and so on…” You can read more on this and other topics on our blog TheBookofLife.org at this link: https://goo.gl/84V7jt MORE SCHOOL OF LIFE Our website has classes, articles and products to help you think and grow: https://goo.gl/E3mS8q Watch more films on The School Of Life in our playlist: http://bit.ly/2g0YFKq Do you speak a different language to English? Philip George - Wish You Were Mine (Official Video)

03:26
Single on iTunes US: http://smarturl.it/PhilipGeorgeUS Single on iTunes: http://smarturl.it/PhilipGeorge Remixes on iTunes: http://smarturl.it/philipgeorgermx First discovered via SoundCloud, Philip George is the 21 year old British house DJ/producer who’s just been signed to leading independent label 3 Beat for the world, with his debut single, ‘Wish You Were Mine’, set for release in the US via a partnership deal with Motown (with Stevie Wonder’s blessing). Currently playlisted at Radio 1, Kiss, Capital and beyond, ‘Wish You Were Mine’, is tipped to be the first UK No.1 of 2015, based on pre-order figures, Shazam data (No.1 on both the UK Top 100 and the Future Hits charts), over 1 million SoundCloud plays (currently hitting 80,000 plays per day) and over 1 million YouTube views. Philip is part of the ‘SoundCloud generation’ of new artists who are discovered online and achieve global recognition within weeks. Hailing from Nottingham, he’s been obsessed by music since the age of 7, when he first learnt to play the piano and drums – a musical grounding that you can hear throughout his productions. Like many, Philip’s love of house music stems from his first visit to Ibiza. An ‘epiphany’-filled trip with parties at DC10, Sankeys, Space and Amnesia, that, he says, “changed my life”. He returned home, stopped making drum & bass, and began making house to play in his DJ sets. ‘Wish You Were Mine’ cleverly uses a familiar vocal from Stevie Wonder – ‘My Cherie Amour’. Combined with Philip’s house bassline and melodies, the track immediately became popular, and quickly took on a life of its own via his SoundCloud, blogs and tastemaker YouTube channels. 3 Beat (home to Sigma, Fuse ODG, Stylo G), have signed George for the world, with a partnership deal for the single in North America via legendary label, Motown. The US interest came about after the label and Stevie Wonder became aware of ‘Wish You Were Mine’, subsequently gave him their mutual blessing, and have now offered him the keys to the Motown vaults for future productions. Now with major support from traditional media, and a rapidly filling DJ schedule, Philip George is set to become one of 2015’s biggest electronic music stars. https://soundcloud.com/philipgeorgeuk https://www.facebook.com/philipgeorgeuk https://twitter.com/philipgeorgeuk

What is Data Mining - Data Science Jargon for Beginners

02:37
In this video I am going to give a simple and beginner definition of what data mining is in data analytics. The data science industry is very complicated, so I want to define data mining for you today. ► Full Playlist Explaining Data Jargon ( https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL_9qmWdi19yDhnzqVCAhA4ALqDoqjeUOr ) ► http://jobsinthefuture.com/index.php/2017/11/25/what-is-data-mining-data-science-jargon-for-beginners/ Data Mining. This term is nearly self explanatory, but let's dig into it (haha, dig into it, data mining) and define data mining a little more to clarify any details. Data Miners explore large sets of data in order to discover patterns in the sets. Data miners look for patterns in order to define medical, buying habits, food shortages, etc... If you are going into the field of Data Analytics you will most certainly be doing a great deal of data mining. Data mining is a mass scale version of looking through thousands of people's daily biographies. What I mean by "looking through people's biographies" is you will be trying to understand how people are responding the the situation you are researching via data. Let's say your company releases a new drug to the market. This drug has been tested to stop the process of breakdown in joints that often leads to rheumatoid arthritis. Your drug ships out to 10,000 trial patients. Now you have a 10,000 person data set to manage. As the trial operates and the patients report their daily experience with the new drug you are being flooded with data about the drug. It is your job as the data miner to find the patterns and insights in order to accurately determine whether the drug is safe or not, the drug needs improvements, or perhaps the drug is not as effective as the company had hoped. In a nutshell data mining is a data analysts daily routine of researching data sets in order to learn from the data.
