I'm planning to buy the HP Pavilion 15-cc178cl. The specs are:
Intel 8th Gen Core i7-8550U QC Processor
2TB Hard Drive
4GB NVIDIA GT940MX Graphics
Can it run games like The Sims 3, City Skylines, Planet Coaster?
Iam having HP 8GB ram
Intel 520 HD graphics 2.3GHz
Nvidia 940mx 2GB DDR3
And i need to plug in charger while i play games like
Watchdogs, CS:GO, Assassins Creed Blackflag , FarCry3, The evil within 2......
Even if i play all of them on low vid quality resolution etc... Still they lag... But whenever i plug in non of them lags even on ultra graphics..... Is this normal??? 😐😐
What do guys think about my laptop's specs?
Intel Core [email protected]
Nvidia Geforce 940mx 2GB
and an intel GPU (I forgot the name:)
P.S: It can run Dota2, LOL, Left for Dead, TF2, and Paladins at Ultra settings.

the witcher 3 play in med, high(better that the version of ps4/xbox) in 720p.
rise of the tombraider in medium. ( this game is very heavy)
wolfenstein 2 in high/very high in closed scenarios. put in medium for all scenarios.
resident evil 7 medium
bf1 in medium/high for 60 fps. I can play in ultra but fps is in 30~40. only for story mode.
Bro i have the exact same spec lap...
But only difference is i have ddr3 card 940mx..
Game is lagging when we play at day on medium at 1366×768 resolution...What is the solution bro??how to smoothen that...Also make a video about your nvidia control panel settings ..!
Man! And I thought gtx 950m was going lag. I passed up on buying a laptop for $500 bucks! It's ok though, you might as well get the 1050 or 1050ti at this point. Especially with 8th gen Intel chip sets coming out in 2018. But Im impressed with the 940mx. Good video bro!
Tanmay Sharma I have a laptop with this 940mx (2gb ddr3) and the i5 7200u. The performance is good for what it is, but expect to play most games on 720p low settings. Older games like before 2015 can be played on 1080p med to high settings.
i have a question?
My laptop is intel core i7-6500u 2.5 GHz with turbo boost up to 3.1 GHz.
NVIDIA geforce 940 mx with 2gb vram .8gb ddr4 memory.
what games can i play? any suggestion? like i want to play gta5 something like that. can i play? please reply cuz im new to pc gaming world.
I have a toshiba c660 21Q with 6gb of RAM, an Intel Pentium 2.00ghz CPU and standard integrated graphics, running on windows seven. Would I be able to install this card into my laptop? Obviously, I'd make any upgrades necessary to avoid bottlenecking..
According to ebay, roughly $237.05 to buy in America, and games such as skyrim and gta were exactly the kind of games I had in mind. Also, glad to hear I can store Windows 10 on the drive should I want it again in the future.. Thank you for helping me with this!
Victor Hood Yes you can store an OS in a drive, and it seems pretty decent for the price. That 2GB of VRAM will perform better in demanding tasks compared to an iGPU and you could probably do some light gaming like GTA V and Skyrim. Btw, how much is it in U.S dollars because I think I want to get one too.
Nothing special, just a custom pc for £180 on ebay I can use as a starting point to upgrade later on. It has 8gb of RAM, a 3.00ghz Intel Core Duo CPU and a GTX 710 2GB graphics card. Not great, but hopefully something I can work with. I'm not aiming for glory, but just a decent PC I can do some casual gaming on would be nice. What do you think?
That's the link, first things for me would be to downgrade it to Windows seven (I never got on with 10 but I think you can store Operating systems on drives, right?) and probably upgrade the GPU and Processor.
Do you think it's worth it? Like I say I don't need a gaming beast, just something decent..
After partnering with Wirex, the company was able to add XRP token support to its Visa card. Subsequently, the number of sign-ups and transactions on the platform had a considerable boost.
The very fine qualities of XRP continue to pull users and firms towards itself with the latest addition of Bitcoin Superstore. Earlier this year, Brad Garlinghouse, the CEO of Ripple said the only way of XRP decoupling from Bitcoin influence is through mass adoption.
This movement has supported the saying that the token has more utility than predicted and in fact the firm pushed up ahead and donated millions for humanitarian causes and charity. The first feedback was not that big, however judging from the most recent development Ripple is enjoying the last piece of the cake.
With the above announcement by Bitcoin Superstore via their twitter handle, users can almost in an instant complete settlements with XRP while purchasing from different retail outlets. These outlets being the leading ones like eBay, Amazon and others. If you choose to go for this option remember that XRP in the past has given out results of being cheap for both the merchant offering to accept the token and the user.
Or, even shorter, build a massive, level playing field in which assets can compete to bridge payments, then try to make XRP a winner on that playing field.
This is an ambitious, maybe even crazy, plan. But Ripple has raised tens of millions of dollars, has over a hundred full time employees, and our successes to date speak for themselves. That is, of course, no guarantee of success.
